The gym is packed full of athletes from all walks of life and they are all passionate about the sport.
They have a strong connection with their fellow fighters, who can help them make a career in the sport they love.
But for now, the gym is a place where a couple of fighters have found solace.
Their son, 19-year-old Jordon, and his girlfriend, 23-year old Sarah, are now enjoying a comfortable life in the gym and say the experience has been a relief.
Jordon said the gym gave them a sense of safety and happiness.
“There are no distractions and you can just focus on the game,” he said.
“When I was young, I would often go to the gym with my dad.
I don’t know if it was because I was too shy or I wasn’t good enough, but I didn’t know how to control myself or what to do with myself.”
The gym was a safe place to get away from everything and relax and have fun.
“Sarah said the place helped them reconnect with their loved ones.”
I was very self-conscious when I started, but now I just feel so relaxed because I know everyone else is there, too,” she said.
While many people would find the gym intimidating, they say it has helped them find their place in the MMA world.”
It’s a safe space where you can go and relax, because it’s not like you have to fight,” Sarah said.
The couple are also taking a break from boxing.
They are currently looking for a job as a personal trainer, and hope to get their own gym to start up.
